Church Membership & Activities

MAGNOLIA AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH:

In 2005-2009, a member of Knitting group at MAG. The latest projects: items for the American soldiers in Iraq; blankets for children in Loma Linda Hospital; clothes for Russian orphanages.

Community Service & Involvement

Cooperated in gathering the funds for the Cancer Research Foundation, 2000-2001
Taught Russian to the group of 9 students before their trip to Russia, 2001
Translated about 50 letters English to Russian & Russian to English for Church organization in order to provide connection between Russian & American children, 2000-2002
In 2005 began my Book Club (with CBU students and Alumni) and we still have regular meetings discussing books and films.

Interests & Hobbies

Traveling to Russia (to Siberia) in 2007
In 2008-2009 several visits to Nebraska to see the grandchildren
Traveled to Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia in May of 2006
Visited granddaughter in Nebraska in 2005 & 2006
